LIV Golf Adelaide 2026 — Four Years In, Four Clients Strong

There are events you shoot once — and then there's LIV Golf Adelaide.

2026 marked our fourth consecutive year capturing one of the biggest sporting events in Australia — and somehow, it still hits the same. The long, sweaty days, and the kind of energy you can't manufacture. This year though? It levelled up, and so did we.

We weren't just on site for one brief. We were there across four clients — Novatech, Red Door Live, Red Bull and SATC — each with completely different priorities, audiences and deliverables.

LIV Golf Adelaide isn't just a golf tournament. It's a full-scale production. Corporate hospitality, international players, brand activations, concerts, sponsor builds, media crews, drone airspace coordination — it moves fast and it doesn't wait for anyone.

Four clients. Four completely different outcomes. All happening simultaneously.

Across the week we delivered full-scale photography coverage, cinematic video production and drone content capturing the scope from above. Each day required rush edits — imagery and video turned around quickly so brands could post while the atmosphere was still electric.

Because at an event like LIV, timing is everything.

There's a rhythm to shooting something this size. You learn how to anticipate moments before they unfold. You move between corporate suites and crowd surges without missing a beat. You read the room. You know when to stay steady and when to run (literally).

It's sweaty. It's high pressure. It's creatively demanding.

We love it.

What it actually takes to photograph a major sporting event

Four years of LIV Golf has taught us things you can't learn from a brief. If you're planning large-scale event coverage — sporting, corporate or otherwise — here's what actually goes into making it work.

Multiple clients, one venue — it requires a system. Shooting four separate briefs at the same event isn't just about having enough photographers. It requires clear pre-production: who needs what, when, where they'll be positioned, and how fast they need content delivered. We map this before we arrive and adapt it in real time.

Rush delivery is a skill in itself. At LIV, brands needed content while the energy was still live — not 48 hours later. Same-day and next-morning turnaround at this scale requires a workflow built specifically for speed: dual card shooting, tethered review, pre-agreed selects criteria, and an editing pipeline that runs parallel to the shoot.

Drone content needs coordination, not just a licence. Airspace at a major event like LIV involves CASA coordination, event organisers, broadcast teams and sponsor considerations. We handle this end-to-end — the flight plan is as important as the shot list.

The best event photography is anticipatory, not reactive. Crowd surges, player interactions, brand moment windows — these don't announce themselves. After four years at this event, we know where to be before the moment happens. That's what experience at scale actually looks like.

If you're briefing an event photographer for the first time, or scaling up from smaller productions, these are the questions worth asking any photographer you're considering.

Being Adelaide-based event photographers and videographers, LIV Golf Adelaide holds a special place for us. But what this event continues to prove — year after year — is that our work isn't limited to one city. The scale, pace and brand expectations mirror major national and international productions, and we're built to operate at that level.

Four years in, and every year we refine the process. Smarter systems. Faster turnaround. Cleaner storytelling. Stronger alignment with our clients' objectives.

We're incredibly grateful to Novatech, Red Door Live, Red Bull and SATC for trusting us again in 2026. Working alongside teams who think big and move fast is exactly where we thrive.

Now we're recovering, rehydrating - and quietly manifesting year five.

If you're planning a major sporting event, brand activation or large-scale corporate production in Adelaide, Sydney or anywhere across Australia — or worldwide — we'd love to bring the same energy to your brief.

We'll bring the cameras (and the sunscreen).
