Headshot and portraiture session

Frankie The Creative produces professional portrait photography for executives, entrepreneurs, creatives and corporate teams across Adelaide. Our portrait clients span government, healthcare, hospitality, professional services, architecture and the creative industries — including the McGrath Foundation at Stamford Plaza Adelaide, the Jurlique executive leadership team at their farm in the Adelaide Hills, SA Power Networks across their facilities, Cox Architects in their studio, Crowne Plaza Adelaide, Aurizn, Junction Australia, Citify at Cog Creative Studio, and Illuminate Adelaide's founders photographed in front of their light exhibitions.

We have also photographed individual executives and public figures including Federal Member for Grey Tom Benning MP, Dr. Heleen Roex, and creative director Nathan Crane - bringing the same relaxed, considered approach to a one-on-one session as we do to a full team portrait day.

Whether you need a single headshot that reflects your professional identity, a personal brand session that tells your story across multiple platforms, or a full team portrait day for your organisation - we shoot on location at your office, at venues like Mount Lofty House and Stamford Plaza, or anywhere that reflects your brand. We deliver a polished, consistent gallery that works across LinkedIn, your website, email signatures and beyond.

With over 15 years of experience photographing real people, we know how to make you look like yourself - not like you're trying.

Why Choose Us

We make people comfortable in front of the camera. Most people don't love having their photo taken. We do. Our relaxed approach means the nervous energy disappears quickly — and the images reflect who you actually are rather than a stiff, corporate pose.

We shoot for how you'll actually use the images. LinkedIn profile, website about page, email signature, social media, press — each platform needs a slightly different crop, orientation and composition. We shoot with intentional variety so your gallery works everywhere without reshooting.

Fast turnaround. Individual sessions are delivered within one week of selections. Corporate team days are delivered within two weeks. Rush turnaround is available for time-sensitive projects. We can send through the proofs to your team, or we can make our own selections. We’ve seen a lot of faces.

Location flexibility. We shoot in your office, at a location that reflects your brand, or anywhere across Adelaide or further. We'll suggest the right setting based on your industry, your brand aesthetic and the light.

We've photographed teams at every scale. From solo executive headshots to 3 full day corporate team portrait days (300+ nurses for McGrath Foundation) — we calibrate the session format, crew size and shooting schedule to match your organisation's needs.

FAQs

How long does a headshot session take?

A standard individual headshot session runs 30 - 60 minutes — enough time to cover two or three outfit changes and a variety of compositions. Personal brand sessions run 60–90 minutes and cover a broader range of contexts and settings. Whereas for organisations and companies needing many - there’s 15-30 minutes which works as a good window.

How do you make people feel comfortable who don't like having their photo taken?

This is genuinely our speciality. We start every session with a few minutes of conversation before the camera comes out — talking through what you do, what platforms you'll use the images on, and what you want people to feel when they see your photo. By the time we start shooting most people have forgotten they were nervous.

Can you photograph our whole team in one day?

Maybe — corporate team portrait days are a core part of what we do. We work with your office or location, build a schedule around your team's availability, and deliver a consistent, polished gallery across every team member. But - the scheduling for some can be the biggest issue with meetings already in place. We photographed 300+ nurses in 4 days with 3 photographers before they went off to their conference in the morning. So - maybe it’s possible to do it in one day?

What should I wear for a headshot session?

Solid colours photograph best — avoid busy patterns or logos. Unless it’s for work - and your brand guidelines suggest having logos… We recommend bringing two or three outfit options so you have variety in the final gallery.

Do you shoot on location or in a studio?

We shoot on location — your office, a curated outdoor setting, or anywhere that reflects your brand identity. We don't operate a fixed studio but we bring portable lighting equipment to any location so the environment never limits the quality of the images.

How quickly will I receive my photos?

Individual sessions are delivered within one week of selections (if you’re doing it) via a private online gallery. Corporate team days are delivered within two weeks. Rush delivery is available on request.
