Adelaide Intimate Wedding Photography: Melanie & Alex

Many people tipped 2020 to be the year of the intimate wedding. Did we expect it to shine like this? No, I don't think many people would have. Some, perhaps, at the very back end of 2019. With the first wave of Coronavirus cases coming through and plundering the city of Wuhan, to begin with. But it wasn't until, what was it, February, March in Australia where things started to get pretty hectic and things haven't quite looked the same since. And, to be honest, won't for a very long time.

Frankie The Creative was fortunate enough to have a couple of intimate weddings of their own during this period. The first came through our own wedding, but that was back in November 2019, when we decided to elope to the Philippines and get married. We didn't need much, nor expected much, other than those closest, of course. Knowing what we know now with this pandemic, we would have liked to have more had more family and friends that are wedding we just want to do things on our own terms. So, yes, 2020 has become the year of the intimate wedding with groups of 10 or less are now, at time of writing, permissible in South Australia with it previously being only 5 or less, inclusive of the celebrant, that is allowed at South Australian weddings.

The gallery that we have here is one of our backyard weddings, turn front yard weddings with the beautiful couple down below here. You can see that those that prefer to have an Arbour, you don't need to do way with one. Well, I mean you can exchange one quite easily, effortlessly and economically for the front door. I don't think many people would have predicted the surge of front yard weddings like we did this year, but hey that might be a growing case for Adelaide intimate weddings and intimate wedding photography for the rest of 2020 and onwards.

Please feel free to peruse at your own time the below images of this Adelaide intimate wedding. If you’re having your own intimate wedding, please feel free to get in touch with us. Looking forward to hearing from you.
