Hospitality & Hotel Photographer and Videographer Portfolio - Adelaide
From teppanyaki kitchens to safari lodges β hospitality photography across South Australia and beyond.
Hotel openings, GM portraits and brand campaigns across South Australia
This portfolio documents hotel and hospitality photography across South Australia and beyond - spanning luxury hotel brand campaigns, property signings, GM appointment portraits, seasonal restaurant content, safari lodge media launches and iconic Australian train journey experiences. Our hotel campaign work includes the InterContinental Barossa announcement for IHG, an undisclosed Accor property signing, and the Crystalbrook Sam Adelaide GM portrait shoot for Crystalbrook Collection - photographed on Halifax Street before the hotel had opened a single door.
At InterContinental Adelaide we have photographed Shiki restaurant across an 18-month seasonal content partnership - teppanyaki action, plated stills, beverage content and brand video across Omakase in Motion, Autumn Menu and Winter Menu. The Monarto Safari Resort media launch required moving constantly between opportunistic wildlife and landscape photography and controlled lodge interior and food styling β the central tension of luxury safari photography, where the wildness of the environment is the entire point and yet the brand demands a considered, premium visual language. The Ghan with Journey Beyond brought a different technical challenge entirely - interior photography of the Aurora and Australis luxury cabins, mostly shot while the train was moving, in tight spaces with mixed light and Australia's landscape scrolling past the windows.
About this work
Government and political photography requires a specific combination of skills that goes beyond technical ability - protocol awareness, discretion, anticipatory positioning, and an understanding of why the images matter and how they'll be used by communications teams, media offices and departmental staff.
Lewis Whittenbury, who leads Frankie The Creative's government and political photography work, studied International Studies at the University of Adelaide - giving him a genuine understanding of diplomacy, institutional hierarchy and the significance of the moments he documents. Every government engagement is approached as a communications brief, not just a photography job.
We are available for government and institutional photography across Australia and internationally. Capability statements, certificates of currency and formal proposals are available on request.
